Long Ashton Transition Village

Long Ashton community for the future

Hi My Name is Suzanna Miles and I live just outside Bath. My husband and I manufacture organic soap & skincare (paraben & sls free) and we endeavour to use recycled packaging as far as possible. We operate on renewable energy and run a multi fuel reclaimed Rayburn, affectionately known as Genghis in the winter for heating, cooking and hot water. We feed Genghis on sustainable wood, recycled wood briquettes and a bit of coal when it is really cold.

The aim of our business venture is to operate as green a business as possible, support fair trade and organic farming and offer a bit back to earth kind charities. The idea started when we were dismayed to find that a great deal of so called organic skincare has a lot of chemicals that are less than green. This coupled with the fact that many organic products are put in PVC or plastic wrap made us think we could do better and we set out to do just that.

Our Sow Tomorrow soaps are wrapped in plantable, handmade, recycled, paper that may grow flowers or herbs if planted. Our Bath oils and liquids are out in glass bottles and sent out in recycled postal tubes, and we re-use as much packaging as we can. As far as possible we use organically certified ingredients and we manufacture to organic standards.

We will be joining Green Park market on Sat 27th June and also sell on line.
