Food group news
The food group have two definite projects in the pipeline, both involving land to grow food on. The church committee have agreed that part of the Burial Ground at the parish church could be planted with mixed fruit bushes and trees. And 2/3 of an acre up Yanley Lane (on the same field as the Chicken Collective) which could be used for veg growing.
A Local Food Grant application will go in in August, and there's a meeting on Tues 15 Sept at the Angel pub (pantry room) for people interested in getting involved.
