Er - it just occurred to me to bring the Permaculture magazines to the meeting. I'm a bit slow sometimes, sorry! :)

Oh yeah, there was a thing on Sunday Breakfast (I dont normally watch it!) about LETS schemes in Bristol last week. It was quite interesting and might be nice to show as an antidote to a depressing Peak Oil show. I did Sky Plus it but not sure whether I can get it from there onto a DVD. Or it might still be available on the web. I wont bother if we're not interested but if you think its a good idea, and that we might be interested in using it at some point (hey - even just for contact names), I could try to get hold of it in a sensible format.

Permaculture mags? Yep - absolutely. Sorry for taking ages to reply. Any particular ones or just a general cross section? I've got about 14 hanging around here. Email me annaoxberry@hotmail.com and we can organise drop off / pick up ... I'm nervous to publish addresses on here.

I was thinking about the idea of a Local Exchange Trading Scheme (LETS) - one of the first things to decide is the name of a currency - what does anyone think about Estunes ? As I am sure you all know Estune is the original name of the village.

The Tool bank is now operational.

Hello everyone, I have added a Tool Bank tab to this page ( the main page) above which will take you to a new page where the list of tools is. There you will also find a form to fill in should you wish to add to the list.

LETS

Hi,
I was thinking about this Local Exchange Trading Scheme (LETS) . What about calling the currency Estunes after the original name of the village ?
