HELLO TRANSITION PEOPLE! Hope everyone has had a reasonable summer in spite of the rain!
I am writing a blurb for the leaflet/flyer to be given out at our first real public outing at the Flower Show-Saturday, Sept 6th.One small flyer could list the dates of meetings and film shows.Would it be good to make a November date(another film?) and December date (a Christmas/midwinter celebration of some kind?) so we could add more dates and people then have an Autumn/Winter Diary of Transition Events.

I am hastily making a few posters ( based on the wording used in the short article sent to the LA magazine etc.)to advertise the meeting on 14th. Just felt we should try to attract more people even at short notice- is that ok?
I will put them up by Co-op and the park etc. Are we all telling likely people to come along on the 14th? If we all bring even one person it would be great..The Transition Hand Book talks a lot about getting existing networks included early on - so can we all have a go? Ph… Continue

Great to see everyone at the meeting. It does encourage me to know there are other positive people in OUR VILLAGE who will turn out on a very windy wild night to admire the swirly carpets of the British Legion, in the hope of a sustainable future !! By the way, the black silhouette is temporary and I will attempt to add a picture of a more human person soon. Let's all join this site and show who we are.
